We have an immediate opening for an Account Executive, based in our Overland Park, KS office. 
  
The Account Executive serves as a primary day to day client contact, collaborating with clients and internal teams to develop and execute campaigns, ensure agency work aligns with business strategy and client objectives, and maintain accountability for project quality, communication, and overall client satisfaction. The ideal Account Executive must thrive in a cross-functional, deadline-driven environment, have exceptional organizational skills, have a proactive attitude, be adept at managing priorities, a skilled problem solver, have excellent people skills and a sincere interest in the client(s) business. 
  
Duties & Responsibilities 
  
General Account Management Responsibilities  
  • Maintain consistent daily client communication to facilitate deliverables and support client/agency growth via phone, email, etc in a professional manner  
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the travel industry, client business, advertising industry/channels and agency process  
  • Actively participate in internal and external meetings as assigned  
  • In partnership with team leadership, take an active role in your personal professional growth  
  • Establish and invest in cross channel agency relationships  
  • Serve as final stage of agency QA for work completed by agency  
  
Account Executive Role Specific Responsibilities  
  • Facilitate the progression of agency work though MMGY’s workflow process. Demonstrate command of agency workflow tools including, but not limited to, Kantata, Jira, Basecamp, Slack, etc  
  • Actively participate in the creative routing process to ensure deliverables are met and that work meets expectations  
  • Document internal/external communication including meeting notes, project updates and client/estimate approval and disseminate among relevant stakeholders in a timely manner  
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including attendee invitations, agendas, location reservations, production of materials for distribution, AV and other miscellaneous logistics  
  • Develop internal and client-facing meeting decks  
  • Draft project briefs and lead internal project kickoff meetings  
  • Present client deliverables, including project plans, estimates, timelines, creative and more; partner with other channels as needed  
  • Verify vendor documentation such as insertion orders, specs, and placement schedules for accuracy  
  • Support the development of and monitor client media plans, ad production, fulfillment and reporting  
  • Lead internal team meetings, client conference/status calls  
  • Other miscellaneous requirements as required by team structure and client needs 
  
Qualifications 
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in advertising or related field   
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing  
  • Results oriented, self-motivated able to inspire sense of urgency for self and teammates  
  • Ability to problem-solve, balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines  
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team  
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, reliable and great energy  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and respect  
  • Exhibits discretion with confidential information
